Do Social Media Make Protests Possible? →
If you’re like me, you get excited when there’s a new Clay Shirky or Malcolm Gladwell essay in your life. This is a brief point/counterpoint-style response to each other’s essays on social media’s power in activism. I lean more towards Gladwell’s point of view.

Why We Built Readability →
Safari 5’s new Reader feature (which is forehead-slappingly good), wasn’t just inspired by Arc90’s Readability bookmark: it started as a fork of their code. Check out Help -> Acknowledgements. I am already developing a twitch to hit ⇧⌘R every time I visit a web page.

Sneaky! I had trouble seeing the hidden Eustace without the rollover, even. My copy is the top-right corner (the male model).

She was just a normal kid. She wasn’t some fat, dumb, Mormon fuckface who should have drank herself to death when she had the chance. (I still won’t believe Glenn Beck isn’t a Tim Heidecker character until I see them appear together.)

The Great New York Fancy-Pants Fried Chicken... →
Last night after a long flight and long ride into the city, Nikki & I were dicking around on the internet deciding where to grab an early dinner nearby. The contenders were Momofuku Noodle Bar, Clinton Street Baking Co., and The Redhead. We went to The Redhead and Nikki had the fried chicken, which ruled. This article came up in my RSS feed this morning. WEIRD.
