Dave Eggers is novelizing Where the Wild Things... →
It’ll be released to coincide with the film (Eggers cowrote the screenplay with Spike Jonze). Last I’d heard the film was delayed indefinitely, but apparently it comes out in October.
I deeply enjoyed Eggers’s last book What is the What.
