I’m taking a surfing class with Josh and Tweeny. It’s through SMC (for college credit!) and so far has been awesome.

Thursday was our first day at the actual beach, practicing popups in the wash, but not catching any actual waves. It’s pretty hard, but lots of fun.

iTunes Genius rocks me harder

I’ve only tried it on a half-dozen songs, but the iTunes Genius ad-hoc playlists were spot-on. This is exactly how I often think of music when I’m working…”I want to listen to something like Lambchop’s Is a Woman but not just that one album.” It keeps boredom at bay while syncing with my general mood.

However, iTunes 8’s stupid insistence of keeping those ugly arrows that link to the Music Store on really grinds my gears.

Turn them off w/ this:

defaults write com.apple.iTunes show-store-arrow-links -bool FALSE
